Highlights of the 2006 Gala

Almost 500 Silicon Valley business and civic leaders networked, dined, and even prayed together to celebrate the "41st Annual SVCCJ Silicon Valley Exemplary Community Leadership Awards." 2006 Chairs Marilyn & David Pratt, John Toole, and Art Zafiropoulo installed Honorees, Caretha & Ken Coleman, Dave House, and Stan Myers. It was a real gathering of old friends as they came to honor people who built Silicon Valley's economic miracle and the nonprofit organization that represents their investment in the diverse community that anchors their global markets. A joint 3-faith invocation and blessing was given by SVCCJ Interfaith Dialogue participants: Bishop Patrick McGrath, Cantor Devorah Felder-Levy, and Rev. Gerald Sakamoto. Rev. Isaiah Jones, another SVCCJ Interfaith participant, treated the audience to a rousing rendition of Camp Everytown's favorite songs with his Everytown Youth Chorus. You don't have to ask if a good time was had by all; just look at the smiles!
